Hi, I’m Dacey M. Spinuzzi—And I’m So Glad You’re Here!

I know life is full of highs and lows. No matter what era you’re in, whether navigating substance misuse, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or the challenges of being a people pleaser, I’m here to walk with you. As an LGBTQIA-affirming therapist, my goal is to offer a safe, supportive space where you can be your true self without fear of judgment. Together, we will break painful cycles and empower you to live more authentically.

Who Do I Work With?

I work with individuals 18+ and offer both in-person and online therapy.

I understand that healing can feel overwhelming at times, but you don’t have to face it alone. With compassion and care, we will work toward your goals together. Take a deep breath— It would be an honor to walk alongside you on this journey toward growth and transformation.

My Approach

During our work together, I take a holistic approach to therapy, meaning I look at the whole you—not just your struggles, but your strengths, values, and the things that make you unique. My toolkit includes a blend of evidence-based techniques, such as:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help shift unhelpful thought patterns

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to process trauma and emotional wounds

  • Person-Centered Therapy to empower you to explore and express yourself freely

  • Mindfulness practices to help you stay present and grounded as you navigate challenges

Together, we’ll tailor these approaches to meet your unique needs and goals, with the ultimate aim of helping you heal and thrive.

A Little About Me

I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III (LCDC III), which means I’m fully equipped to support clients navigating both mental health and substance use challenges. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Central Florida in 2020, and my journey in the mental health field began during my internship in 2019, where I worked in community mental health. I continued in this space until June 2023, before stepping into the exciting world of private practice. In September 2024, I launched my own practice, driven by a deep commitment to helping others heal, grow, and thrive.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll likely find me enjoying Taylor Swift’s latest album (yes, I’m a proud Swiftie!), curled up with a romance novel, or getting lost in books about social justice, which fuel my passion for creating positive change in the world.

My family is my heart—they remind me daily of the importance of love, connection, and resilience, values that I bring into my therapy practice. I’m excited to support you in your own journey toward healing and growth.

“You take a deep breath, and you walk through the doors.”

-Fifteen, Taylor Swift

Starting therapy can be intimidating, and it’s completely normal to feel nervous about taking that first step. It takes courage to acknowledge that you need support, and just by considering therapy, you’ve already made a powerful choice toward positive change.

In this space, I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where you can explore your feelings, gain clarity, and work through life’s challenges. Whether you’re dealing with stress, navigating a life transition, or simply looking to better understand yourself, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Healing is a journey, and it’s okay to take it one step at a time. I’m here to help you feel seen, heard, and empowered as you work toward growth and well-being.

If you’re ready to begin, reach out today to schedule your first session. I look forward to working with you!
